I like lighting those ones on fire. Particularly the ones that are bitchfests. It's almost a dispelling of all the negativity that comes out of it. It's a form of art, imo, but a very personal one without an audience (aside from yourself). Which I guess is what you'd call spirituality....

i think you're looking for the word magick holmes, which of course is an art

and it's exactly what you claim it to be, a purification of the negativity symbolized in that letter, and it's as effective as the will/effort you put into it

even if you don't believe in it, you are basically practicing with that act

mine sat in my hands for weeks......and then i hand delivered it like a crazy person......but i gained one of the most intense friendships i've ever had with someone over it......

imo hand delivering these are the only way...

oh totally. and i mean no response can be hard to deal with but at least knowing they got it and read what you had to say......theres some pride in knowing you were strong enough to say it in the first place right?

if I thought I would be able to articulate properly what I truly wanted to get across with words... I would definitely just do that.

since face to face conversations are subject to interruptions, misunderstandings, being cut off and swaying off topic.. writing is best sometimes to just 'be heard'.
