isnt fnk kinda like a blog? i mean, we have all been here for such a long time and we all share common interests in music and such so we all know each other pretty well IRL and virtual by now. i dont mind reading about marty's updates or anyone's happenings and goings on the site...

marty good for you man, i delay my trips all the time. if it dosent feel right DON'T GO!..., most recently i had my hymalayn trek all planned out for a may departure but after reading more about it i discoverd the conditions were to hot for comfort so, even though i didnt want to, its best that i delayed.

everything happens for a reason. trust in that.

YO MATTY!!!...i'm certified ssi open water but havent been out in 2 years. would i need to take a brush up course or anything if i wanted to join you guys on a local dive?

But get it soon as the best conditions are in Winter time for BC.

Like Marty said, never hurts to brush up on your skills. But any instructor can take you out and go over the basics. For me I would just take you on a dive and assess your skill level from there and see if you actually need to tune up on anything.
Like I said to Marty, Im always down to dive, just let me know when you wanna go.

I've got it covered if we go. Depending on the location.

I'm hoping to go for a weekend at Dynamikes Dive Charter in Nanimo this summer. I've been there twice now and it's by far my favorite dive destination out of all the dive I've been on (world wide).

"World renowned scuba diving in Campbell River, British Columbia. Wreck diving in Canada on HMCS Columbia, incredible underwater photography. BC diving charters include comfortable lodgings, hot tub, home cooked meals."

Like, 3 days of diving, home cooked/bbq'd food, hot tub (for after the longer dives) and so much more! It's great!
Also, any of the specialty dives that are offered, I've got the certs for, so I will be able to take anyone on any of the dives if an instructor is needed.

Well, first off I need this cold to get away, That's the only thing stopping me from Cert.
But the winter will be all us doing some diving, my co-worker is in as well. She's advanced.

We all need to do some diving at the cove or something, so I can see where your skill levels are at, before I pair up with anyone for any kind of serious diving.

Well, i'm not cross 50'.. so that's pretty much all I advise you.
Anything past, i know i'm not ready for it.

I personally am harder than a diamond in an ice storm, cant wait to get some diving done!
