Looking to get this cold out of the way so I can get certified for scuba

So far, dayquill is a waste of money.. I took 3 and nothing.
don't recommend buckleys cause it doesnt work from a prior cold.

I need something either pill or syrup form that will kill this cold and make me a happy person for monday.

cold meds only take the symptoms away, they don't actually make you better.

only time, vitamins and rest will make you better. load up on vit C, odorless garlic and echinicea (sp?).

but dude, its odorless garlic capsules. you swallow them - no chewing or garlic taste/breath involved whatsoever. and it helps. but, upto you!

and sorry for the delayed reply... You should aim for about 3000mg of each (100mg, 3x a day). and for your vit C go for chewable if you can... since you're trying to get it absorbed into your system asap, and frequently, its a better choice.

also, forgot yo mention before but Echinalin (sp?) is a herbal version of say, cold fx. You could try taking that as well (directions on the box). its a white with pink/purple on it.

being sick all the time might be indicative of something else that is wrong. it was with my mom. go see a doc for the bigger picture.
