i said that the minimum ticket cost is $40 and i pay $10 an hour to flyer. most companies that pay people to flyer not only pay an hourly wage, they tend to comp a ticket as well. jim used to do it for the plaza.
common grooves is a perfect example. they were not throwing the events they were marketing for, they were handing out the flyers for events that they were hired to promote for. they pumped up the events online, they postered and they were outside clubs every night handing out flyers.
if i hired someone to work for myself on the expectation that they were going to do what they said without supervision and they fulfilled that expectation, it shows that they are a reliable and hard working employee. no matter the shit job they were hired to do.
