Okay. Now what was the right action to take when the baby was suffocating? Call in their pediatrician and get them to talk her down? How long would that have taken? Do you understand how long an infant can live without oxygen?
Seriously, you haven't provided a single alternative for them to go down insofar as SAVING THE BABY'S LIFE, so you really need to think about what the "right" action would be.

Ninjaboy, i did not say she had PPD for a fact. I said that based on the circumstances it is quite probable that she does. I dont see how you can misunderstand that, but anyways.

Because you can't shut up about it already.

Also, social services or anyone from the ministry of family and children arent a neutral third party. Sure they were on site, and probably escalating the situation well before the police were called, cops show up and it gets out of control.

Okay. And your alternative is?

anyways, this is pointless so im removing myself from this "discussion".

It is pointless. Because you're quick to criticize but have no effective alternative. You're just whining and complaining about something that you really don't know the specifics of (none of us do) but you just keep theorizing reasons that it's an injustice. You'd make an excellent lawyer.
It also bugs me that you seem to claim the Province article as the only reliable source here. That paper regularly omits factual evidence and emphasizes on certain points so as to sensationalize a story, and invoke an emotional reaction in its readers and get them incensed. This is a fine rhetorical tactic, but has no place in the news.
