buying jewellery online?

I'm looking to get something and have checked out a few sites.. I've read that shopdi.com is crap.. twainjewels.com i'm really skeptical about.. and lastly bluenile.com which seems decent, but has fairly expensive tax/shipping. If all else fails, I'm going with bluenile

I know it's something that should be done at a jeweler in person, but aside from that, are there any good online retailers that you know of?

eeek, I think you're right to be skeptical, buying jewelery online seems
pretty shifty.

Jeweler prices are insane, but man, the online option just seems
risky.
