When I'm at Thrifty's the spinach dip almost always gets me. loooove that stuff.

I also have a bad habit of buying a big bag of salad (or fixins for a salad) and it goes bad long before I eat it all. :(

^ Ah Thrifty's. Back when I went to school in Mill Bay I'd take various trips up to Thrifty's and raid their mojos. Occasionally we'd also go pick out a few cheeses that we'd never had and mow down on cheese & crackers.

i have a really shitty memory so i often forget whats in my pantry and buy what i think I dont have but actually have lots of.

Oh and heavy cream to make alfredo with, i buy it with the intention to make alfredo BUT it goes bad long before I get around to making it.

Cheese! mmmmm Camembert... But normally I'll wait and go to this special Shop on the Danforth that is ALL Cheese.

Sometimes dips like Tyrokavteri, Tzatziki and Hummus... also I usually break down and buy Aracinata or Orangina.

Other things that I can resist on occasion is Eggo Waffles and Pizza Pops. Great quick snacks.

I can never go to Thrifty's without buying a cheesebun to snack on...so then I have to shamefully wave the empty bag at the cashier and tell her I already ate it!

I usually overstock on limes/lemons, just cause I assume I'll find a use for them eventually.

Potatoes salad and asiago + artichoke dip got me the other day.


I find it's usually nacho related or one of them 1 gallon organic apple juice jugs...nectar of the gods and all.

On Friday I went to buy some provolone cheese and I ended up with: artichoke dip, Que Pasa chips, pear-cardamon preserves, Salt Spring Island goat cheese, spice mix to make enchilada sauce and 2 red delicious apples.
