President Bush (goodbye)
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/23/wo...l?ref=americas
okay so is just me or is it ironic that he's addressing the World and talking about preventing future collapses of the World economy? it's simple, just never let someone that dumb run a country that powerful. "Mr. Bush seems a changed man, offering occasional hints he is reflecting about the world he leaves behind." does he have any clue how much shit he fucked up and how many people are dead or screwed otherwise because of him? I really hope that he is left with a legacy of shame. honestly he makes Nixon look saintly. |

Bush was set up by the democrats to make sure the country would forget how bad Clinton was. Note that the other Clinton was in the runnings to replace him.

Have you seen his wife? Personally, I'd be more suspicious of him if he wasn't getting a little action on the side.
I think he was a great president, and one cool cat to boot. |

You mean lying to congress about having an affair?
Seriously? Your defending someone who's administration has openly lied to congress about reasons for a war, been caught, refused to participate in any investigations (Clinton's administration, released documents and publicly admitted everything) and huge incidents that Bush has pretty much ignored. But when Clinton does this about an affair he had, it's suddenly worse? I understand that you may be republican, but even people in the Party have said that this adminstration and McCain's campaign are probably one of the worst things to happen to the republican party. Are you that dedicated to trying to stir the pot? |

What would you have done if you were president in 2001? Do you know exactly what he knew? Maybe he just didn't want to waste millions of tax dollars and countless hours of his staff's time with inquiries just to prove one way or the other whether he "screwed the pooch" or "goofed up?"
Bush dealt with a scenario that America hasn't seen anything like since '41, and even then there was at least a clear, definite enemy they could bomb the hell out of. It's easy being an armchair general. |
