Odd you post this just now.
We're shooting an episode w/ a gambling den, and we've had a couple of roulette wheels kickin' around the studio this last week. Naturally, we've all been spinning and guessing numbers. Needless to say, no one has been able to call a winner. It just drives home the point for me that gambling bites. I know I'm not going to win (yeah, there's a _chance_ but so slim), so, why would I bother throwing my money @ an already rich casino, when I could use said bucks to get drunk, buy sundries, or travel. Hell, the only time I've even been IN a casino was earlier this year @ Edgewater for a wrap party. I was amazed how packed it was w/ people gambling, but, it had no draw for me, whatsoever. Frosty (doesn't understand "craps") |

my honest thoughts on gambling: if i had the luxury of money to flush down the toilet i'd invest in stocks, real estate or entrepreneurial business plans, rather than games at the casino.
there's gambling smart and there's gambling stupid... casinos, lottery tickets etc belong to the latter category. But if money isn't an issue for you, I guess it doesn't hurt to gamble stupid for the fun of it. |

Or, is that just "Golf"? It'd have about the same chances as Roulette, wouldn't it? Frosty (would rather give money to the "Pub" than the "House") |
