Sakura-Con reserves the right to deem a costume as unacceptable and request the wearer make modifications as necessary. This convention is a family-friendly event. Please keep this in mind when choosing your costumes and allow your common sense and good taste to prevail. Certain fetish items, such as collars and leashes, pose a hazard to others in the public areas and for this reason are not allowed. Shoes are required in the public areas. Please refrain from using the regular hotel towels to remove makeup. Either bring your own or request old towels from the hotel desk. If there is permanent damage to the regular towels, individuals will be charged.

Here is a special bonus for us Canadians if $45us per person is too much...
Quote:
To our Canadian friends:
Sakura-Con 2003 is contining our past practice of Canadian at par registration.
Just what does this mean? It means that what ever the registration is in American dollars, we will accept the equivalent in Canadians dollars for Canadians who reserve a hotel room in the Sakura-Con room block at the Seatac Hilton. Canadian members must have Canadian ID and be registered in the room block to receive the at par registration benefit.
For example, if the registration is $45 US, Canadians who reserve a room under Sakura-Cons room block only need to pay the US equivalent of $45 Canadian for registration into the convention. Which would be about $32.00-$35.00 US (depending on the current exchange rate). Sakura-Con does not have money exchanging capabilities so you must pay for registration in US dollars. Please check your local money exchangers for the current exchange rate.
The rules are simple:
Mailed in registrations should be paid for by international money orders, no Canadian checks or cash please. And should be postmarked by the Canadian Postal Service. If you have your room confirmation number please include it on your registration.
Registrations turned in at the meetings should be accompanied by proof of Canadian citizenship, and no Canadian checks please, our banks charge us large fee's to process them.
When you pick up your badges at the convention, please have proof of Canadian citizenship and your room confirmation number ready. (Please only four memberships per room confirmation.)
We look forward to seeing all of our Canadian friends and supporters again in 2003!
