question for people who have or have had a student loan
ok heres the thing.
on the form i filled out i told them that i was going to be moving out that way i got the maximum amount. so i dont really wanna move out cause im not gonna have enough money...i will if i get the grant (i have to do an appeal) and i dont even know when i would be getting a grant. but i was just wondering... do they really check to see if you have moved out? or could i totally scam them and like give them my brothers address and telephone number and stuff? |

uh. they do check some people. my sister for one. however, it was because she had been working so much while going to school. She was living on her own, in kelowna, but working as well, so she COULD live on her own.
They checked her out. Audited her. |

Guys I worked for a bank for seven years - they check home addresses randomly - get caught and you can face real legal penalties
there's always the chance they will never check -like Welfare addresses- but know that they can-they have and will aviod the loan all together if possible ....besides if you borrow the max and you default that follows you for SEVEN years - think about it - in seven years if you are trying to buy a home or something...no good |
