Web design help (myles.. someone?!)

Ok I need help with the layout of my site, I have a sketch of aprox what I want.. now I just need to know how to put it together on my computer. I only know basic html and just started learning frames (which don't seem to be working for me).
I'm not posting my sketches here because I don't feel like being mocked for what I do, so if you think you can help me with this (it's nothing too fancy) I guess just respond or pm me and we can talk over msn, icq whatever..

frames are taboo. the accepted way now to do most webpages is to split it up into tables. tables will let you align everything up, and are way better at looking good in all browsers. frames are horrible and make navigation much harder.

ok thanks. yah My friend just told me to use tables too.. BUT i don't exaclty know how to use those either haha.

Can I put a frame into a table? because i *think* i'll need to.

I want the main page.. then a seperate little "window" in it for all the content. Kind of like one main, permanent "frame" (not as in computer frame but like in the real sense of the word.) framing the content which will change with the different links to other pages on my site.
if that makes ANY sense.

just put the navigation 'window' on the top/side every page, no need to keep it in a frame.

ok, but how do I make a seperate navigation window inside an allready existing page. Like I want the heading on top, a picture on the left side, then a box with the navigation widow on the right, lined up with the picture.
I also want a column on the left, in this window with the links to the gallery etc.. which will show up right beside it in this box.

- Website name/title
- Menu Links (like on ur example site)
- 1/2 images of you to use for effect (like faded in the bg)
- Colors? 1/2 main colors, and a base of black or white

I allready have a sketch of the layout... do you want to see that? because THAT'S what I want. I can do the rest myself untill I have to open a form of payment etc. I just can't figure out how to do it, thats all.

and what do you mean by menu links? do you want the actual graphics/icons?

If You can "whip up" something according to my sketches I will love you forever and ever :P
Even if its just somehwat of a template of what I need, I can add in all the little stuff like background, colours, picture etc.
