Do you girls like when guys grow long hair?

I think I'm just gonna let my hair grow. I've never had long hair before but I wanna see what it's like. I haven't cut it since late September but it's not that long yet. Last couple times I got it cut, I didn't really want to but my parents and cousins talked me into it. I like the way my hair feels. If I get to not like it, I could always just cut it. I've always liked having black hair so maybe I should have more of it.

So do girls like men with long hair or do you girls just think it's messy and ugly.

I'm starting to think the point of cutting hair is just so you can put on a suit and work a job that sucks. I'd rather be out in the woods somewhere smoking weed and doing something creative like writing or journalism or something like that but even if I stay in a city I might keep my long hair.

I was wondering if girls like it or not?

I don't know, maybe it totally depends on the girl but I think guys look WAY better clean cut. I think long hair kind of looks dirty on a guy, maybe it's just cuz a lot of the long-haired guys that I've seen never really washed their hair and grew it out simply cuz they were lazy... So it was always ill-maintained.

If it looks good on them, then it's fine. And not the scraggly long hair. There's a limit to how long it can be and what style. BUT, myself, I've grown past that stage of long hair on guys. I used to think Daniel John's hair (from silverchair) looked SO good on him. and it did back then, then he cut it shorter and dreaded it <--also looked good. But now it's long again and looks too girlish. (of course, that's what he's going for).

if it's not a girlish long hairstyle, it's okay.
it depends on what the person looks like and his personality.

Some guys still look good with long hair. especially if it's dreaded.

Meh. but it's just nice looking at it. It really doesn't do much for me.

actually, it would be SO weird to run your hand through a guy's hair who had long hair. It'd be like... ME brushing their hair from their eyes, and shopping for hair products together

yeah. well it also depends on HOW you maintain your long hair too. I think that when it looks like the hanson brother it isn't cool.. but David Usher kind of long is yummy.

When my hair was longer, like an inch past my chin, almost everybody told me to cut it. They kept telling me "cut your hair, you hippie", and then when I finally did cut it, they all told me "WHY DID YOU CUT YOUR HAIR?!?!? It looked so good on you!"

I think it all depends on the person but you'll never know till you try it.
I just know that I look much better with long hair rather then short hair.
