but not only that this year the team has way more depth in their lines. I can;t remember as many players scoring such high numbers in 94 ( except for Bure ).
I think maybe Lindin or Courtnall were next well below Bure in the scoring on the team. And we didn;t have a player that was the top ( or tied for ) scorer in the league that year either Its gonna be a good year indeed :c-tard: Last edited by DJDeeb; Feb 25, 03 at 11:15 PM. |

Naslund, Bertuzzi, Morisson....best line in hockey. End of story.
If there ever was a year when the Canucks genuinely had a chance to go all the way this is it. The 94 run was a fluke more than anything else. We weren't even supposed to get out of the first round. Canucks vs. Devils... my call for the cup. |

^I don't care how bad they suck.... any team that can perform an 8-0 routing of any other NHL calibre team is a pretty decent accomplishment.
Heatley and Kovalchuk are both very good goal scorers so don't try and pull the crap that Atlanta sucks. Bottom line... we won an 8-0 game. 8 goals, 14 points by the west coast express, shutout.... that's impressive by any standards, no matter who we play. |
