hey guess what. its NOT japanese food that they serve in this country. if you go to japan and ask for a california roll, they'll say "HUH???" and laugh at you, they'll ask you what country you came from and laugh at you again.

well from a NON JAPANESE gals perspective....vancouver has a lot of cutie japs boyz.....maybe cuz i like the fob ones that dunno any english....with their little goatees...cargos...hats..
they're style's very different than other guys in van..and that makes them stand out..u can automatically tell if they're jap or not.~

but yea gotta say there are a lot more pretty jap girls tho

Tis a true thing. My mom was telling me this as well.

Also if you ask for no wasabi at a sushi place the owner or sushi chef will get mad at you. Its pretty much disrespecting the sushi I guess, b ut then again that goes for japanese people.

I think if your not japanese they may let you off the hook, but what about people like me. I might look japanese but I was born here though then again I am japanese bahaha

word man i also like motoyaki..gyzoa, ebi suonomo, salmon and tuna sashimi, cropped crab and scallop cone's...but im white so i also like all the different kappa and dynamite rolls, etc.

haha i love how outta no where we're talking about japanese boys.. eh..not a big fan of them. the fobby ones are just good eye candy.. cuz they tend to have a wicked sense of style.

hmmmm im a fan of japanese food too.. unagi is definately my fave..on rice. yum. im asian..so i was brought up to always try different food, so i definately dont mind raw stuff. i love the "westernized" sushi though.. cali rolls and alaska rolls..YUM!

i found my new fave sushi place.... called sushi king on granville.. i love it thereee... the price is decent and everythings HUGE. grrz...i feel like a sunomono right now..

Oh man when it comes to japanese food I'm a pig. :PartEkid: LOL I love my dynomite rolls but I always have to get my rice tempura and ika karagi (sp?) every time. Hon Gin on lonsdale is the shit!! I'm addicted. the funny thing about that place though is that there is this one big loud guy that i think is native but wears a comono and goes around being a goof with all the coustomers and harrasing the shy ppl. lol its always a good time. :c-tard:
