i won heh
speeding ticket going 95 in a 60 judge asks me my plea, i say not guilty cop says "The crown would like to dismiss the case due to lack of evidence"

Mixed feelings on this one...
- Happy for you - What a waste of your, the courts, the police's etc. time - Worried that someday U're gonna f*ck up and seriously hurt someone Really, dude, take it as good fortune that your weren't penalized or punished in any way except for having to deal with the hassle...but realize that someday the reason you're standing before a court won't be to fight a fine, but rather a formal charge stemming from an accident that may have injured yourself and/or others, or worse.

I actually agree with Krista..
I do admit there are times that ppl do go a lil over the speed limit... but think bout this... when going over the speed limit ur taking a risk. u may not think u are but u are. 3 options: u may get speeding ticket, u may get away with it, or u get into a car accident (may kill or injure other, may not) but the fact is that no one should be proud of speeding and should try and avoid it. Konrad im gunna say this again ur lucky that u got out of the tix this time but just think... the next time: u probably wont be able to get out that easy.. people think that they can just go and speed again when they get out of a speeding tix but thats not the case with u I hope.

i have one other speeding ticket. But i speculate winning that as well.
2 cops with laser gun is insufficient evidence, so one could assume 1 cop with no other cars around ticketing me without being able to tell me how fast i was going when i asked him is insufficient as well.

Did i mention how i love to excessively speed whenever theres small children playing in the streets? it gives them a good scare!
You guys are fucking retarded. Whenever i do go like 90 in the city, its in the middle of the fucking night. Hell, if theres a car or child in my way, chances are i'll have like 4 or 5 lanes to pass him anyways. It's not like i go superduper fast down a small two lane residencial steet or rip it through those lil alleys downtown. Middle of the night what am i gonna hit? a fucking cat? an inanimate object? Cat i honestly wouldn't care, Inanimate object such as a parked car, i wouldn't put myself in a position where im in danger of hitting one. And before you guys all go off mentioning the recent death of those 4 dumbass's in the rustang, that was not caused by speeding. That was caused by idiots trying to pass someone by going on the wrong side of the fucking road without checking if it was safe to do so first. 50kph or 150kph, they'd be killed from a head-on collision.

Lack of evidence could have, in your case, meant that the officer lost his notes from the incident (it happens, saw that in another case the same day). And 95 in a 60 zone is pretty excessive. If you are only doing these things on empty roads, in the middle of the night, with plenty of time to see what may be out there, and even more room to manuever, then how did you manage to miss the cop that caught you?
