That's one of the reasons My mom hasn't let me get any facial pericings. She thinks I'll never be able to ind a job ever again. That and the scar she seems to think will be huge and hideous.
I want to get my monroe done though :( I'm 19 soon so she can't say anything but I'm a little worried about a scar as well.

depends on where you're gonna want to work. I had to take out my labret for my past two summer jobs, but my job now lets me have piecings and dyed hair *shrugs*
In any case, you can take out your piercing for an interview, get hired, hen ask about piercing policy

^^ that's what i do most of the time.
i'm a programmer though so i'm at the slack end of the dress code. i can wear a dirty hoodie and patched up jeans to work, show up not having shaved for a week, listen to crazy loud drum n bass in my office... it's a tough life ;)

I've had my labret for a long time and it's never been an issue for me, even with my current office job.
It's kind of funny though, there's people who have known me for years and they don't even notice it until one day they ask me when I got it pierced? Maybe it's something that depends on who has it and how obvious it is. You won't be able to comfortably take it in and out for a long time until you've had it done for around a year.

YEAH I LOVE IT !!!!
i already took a few t3's and now im feeling a lill airy.. i think im gonna go get it cheked at the place i got it done it cant hurt anny . thanx myra. im thinkin bout puttin a hoop back in my lip (labret) jus' a lill one i dont think i can part with that piercing just yet.

My work wouldn't be to impressed if I got a facial piercing.
They arn't too impressed that I have a tattoo that sometimes shows on my lower back when I bend over, let alone the one I have on the back of my neck....which you can see all the time if I have my hair up. Why do they give me grief about the one they can hardly ever see? Makes so sense

OOh Ashley I want to see your monroe!! What side did you get it on? I can't decide which side to get mine done on, I think I might go with the rightut I'm not sure. For some reason I'm being really picky about it.
And courtney I haven't seen you with your labret done either. I think it would look great on you though.
