Lol.. i had ICQ for the longest time and i refused to get msn.... everyone was like "do you have msn! add me to msn! whats your msn! ect" and i'd be like "i refuse to get that piece of crap"

a year later its the only messaging program i have :P

^^ i too was part of the icq elite. i was only wrangled into using MSN after i discovered Miranda ICQ. it was a slippery slope to Trillian from there, but thankfully my trillian aim connection icon has been dark for some time now.

I love msn....
I use ICQ too...don't like it that much though.
Also have Yahoo messenger but I never use that.
I used Trillian..but I didn't like it.
Too much going on w/ that program..always windows and ppl msging me all at once from all over the web..ahhHH

^^ trillian definitely isn't a program for the faint of configuration. if you're slightly geeky and love customization you'll do just fine though.

^^ the UI for MSN's official app is indeed made for fucktards, but the protocol itself is actually pretty decent except for how easy it is to intercept.

i run both icq and msn.

it's not that complicated. i've turned off all the alerts on msn, and only bring up the window every 15 minutes or so to see who's on. as well, i usually only have one or two chat windows going at once. anymore and i'd go insane. thank god for messaging mode in icq.

I hope to one day have some geek powers ~ it is after all the way of the future and blah blah blah - but for now I am just really glad to have proud geek friends to help me along the way :)

i have used icq for years now, but i just recently started using msn cuz most people i talk to online now use msn.

but i use both still. :)
