Just a thought
or 6


1. some guy catches a strong flu virus, it eats his weak immune system alive, and he very soon ceases to be.

2. The doctors who examine the guy post mortem decide to see what sorta chaos they can create in the world. "It's not the flu... This guy had... SARS" they tell the media.

3. The media does their typical media dance, everyone hears about SARS, and how dangerous it is. The virus has been distrobuted.

4. You catch a run of the mill flu, your brain says "d00d, this must be that SARS that everyone's afraid of"... psychosomatic effects take... er... effect. Immune system stops working so hard, etc. Boom. You've got SARS. *queue YOUVE GOT MAIL sound*

5. Your flu spreads naturally, just like any flu bug would, people's bodies catch it, and their brains wreck psychosomatic havoc on themselves, reinforcing the apparent outbreak. Yay mementics.

6. You discover that I'm most likely just an inbred paranoid idiot pulling all this out of my ass.

Or am I? you decide.

Either way, the power of suggestion is one to be reckoned with.

i'm one of those guys that walks around selling crap for really cheap.

everything we sell is made in china, we talk to hundreds of people a day, and i just came back from toronto...on a plane nonetheless.

Yes, we can make so many posts pointing out the obvious...yes, people are paranoid.

But guess what, people are dying too! Would you rather people be extremely cautious or extremely careless when it comes to something like this?


It's just like one day you finally feel this huge lump somewhere on your body and you're freaking out, of course you're going to expect the worst, and of course you're going to see the doctor. Would you make fun of someone for worrying then?
