Gulf Islands??

K... so my trip to Cancun is a no go =( Kinda don't have enough moola but I still haveta get away for a while.

I'm thinking of renting a cabin for a week on one of the Gulf Islands or a remote part of Vancouver Island (far away from Victoria).

Anyone know of any helpful sites or people I should get in touch with?

I'm looking at the last week of May/first week of June.

I would say saltspring, it's big, quaint, quiet, full of hippies, cool cafes and stores. Lots of sheep, rolling hills and cool cottage industry stuff. You could ride your bike around it in a day. Mt. Maxwell is cool as well...I mostly camp on beaches and sleep under the stars, but you're prolly a city chick, eh? ;)

That's just it... I wanna get away from the city for a while. I was totally thinking Saltspring myself... I went camping there a few years back and fucking loved it!

I just wanna rent a cabin for a week or something this time. I have no idea where to look though.
