i think its more the defenses fault.. minnesota has way better defense
cloutier could still use some more work though.. for him its like all about confidence.. i can imagine a hockey game coming out with a confidence power meter for cloutier john 2899131 |

we could go on and on about why we lost. Bottom line, the Wild were the better team in the 3rd period.
Cloutier gave up 2 many goals in games 5 & 6. Not all of them were his fault though. You gotta admit, this game was nerve racking. Lets hope during the offseason there will additions. Next year people. :c-tard: |

Everyone's always so quick to blame one person (usually cloutier) for the loss. It takes a team to win, and a team to loose. It was either have him out there, or risk it with auld who hasn't even been playing any games, minus the third period two games ago. They lost, but they played hard and they played alot better then the last two games. You gotta give em that. |

ok I don't care... cloutier does not suck.. let's get that through..
however... he is not a stand out goalie.. when the pressure is on him... he chokes.. it's 2 - 2... every goalie has to step up.... Cloutier can't do that... he chokes.. it's 2 straight years now.. and his goaltending in the first series... only the last few games bailed him.. but if the canucks had a goaltender that can take thep ressure.. they would be doing ok... naslund was just gone this series.. and salo was lost which was huge... and jovo.. iuno... bad and good points in his play clearly... the bottom line is... clouts let in 15 goals in 3 games... yes.. some were not his fault.. but.. the ones that had to be stopped were not. |

"That team over there is not more talented than we are, but they played better as a team."
- Cloutier. "Everyone talks about how good they are defensively, but no one talks about how good they are offensively. Very rarely did they shoot pucks at my belly. They were always picking corners. Like I said, they played well and they deserve it." - Dan Cloutier on a miscast Wild team. |

i never said he didn't make any mistakes, i just said it takes a team. so y es, he made mistakes.. choked under the pressure, but there were others who made mistakes too. it was all these mistakes that helped the other team win. i just get tired of people blaming him for all the teams problems, thats all. it's not just him, they all made mistakes. it happens. but geez, unless he was just standing in one spot not moving at all the whole game, it's not all his fault! that's all =) |

I think of one shot in particular right before the end of the game. I beleive cloutier was out so we had the man advantage. 'Tuzzi had a golden moment and he simply placed it onto the goalies sitck. That one shot just made me shake my head cause i saw the shots that the wild were sending. They hit cloutier in the head for hells sakes. |

cloutier needs to see a sports psychologist or something man.....he needs to learn how to let it go........he get's one bad break and he falls apart....he was playing pretty good at first until that fluke ass goal went in and fucked up his confidence...........or trade his ass.....

Cloutier. Pack u're bags. We can win the stanley cup with an elite goalie. I say our time is now. Send Cloutier and a prospect out for a premier Goalie. I'm unsure of who's gonna be on the trading block but something needs to be done. I wouldn't do the trade unless we got a proven goalie in return, otherwise we'd be in the same boat.

im only ragging on the canucks because they disappointed me, i still think they're a great team and if they tune up their game they're cup contenders next year. cloutier just needed a really good game, and his team didnt really give him much help, most of the goals he let in were not his fault. especially with a team like the wild, they jump so fast, its hard to keep track of where they are on the ice.i agree he should have saved some of those shots, but those are the breaks.
