but u can see they're point nolan. The money spent on the flags could've EASILY been put to better use, since they ain't gonna sell for at least 4-5 months. It takes money to make money, and they could've used it more productively. But it was a gamble and they lost. NO ONE would be laughing if the canucks where still in, they'd be up a LOT of coin.

Obviously there is next season, but do you think people are going to go buy flags because of that no. They are going to most likely wait until mid season(if the canucks are doing good), or until the 2003-2004 playoff's. Some people will go and buy a flag or two but majority most likely won't. Especially with canucks disappointing departure from the playoff's. So they lose money, cause well its going to take them awhile to sell those 10,000 flags haha |

it is business, and sometimes you have to take risks, it's not like the flags are bio-degradable. obviously there not gonna sell them all right away, but they will be sold during the year, and when you bandwagon jumpers get back on board next year.
