How to get left side as strong as right

k well, I need some pointers on how to get my left arm as beefy as my right arm, when im doing curls or whatnot, my left arm is weaker then my right arm, its really annoying. This is probs due to the fact that im right handed, that and when i dont have a anyone to satisfy me, i beat-off with my right hand :P

I need some pointers, do i just work out my left arm some days or what? i can only curl like 25 with my left and 35 with my right, sorta seems weird to me :(

Any Advice how i should get my left hand to compete with the right?? (plz dont say beat off with left hand, serious advice only plz).

KandyKid, try working on you left arm all day, not just in the gym. Try picking up things all day with the left hand, you do 2 things train the nerves to work better, and slowly build up. If one arm is way stronger or is more agile at a work out, then you favor it with power lifting, if gets stronger,,, so you favor it more.

Try just going to the gym and working the other one just a bit harder.

It's not just the bicep or tricep that needs work Kandy Kid. You also need to work the left side of your chest abit harder as well. I had the same problema nd when I started lifting I asked a personal trainer what he recommended. When you're doing curls try either adding weight to the left bell or just do an extra couple reps on the left.

For a killer tricep workout put your feet on a bench and put a bench behind you. You can do reverse pushups basically with your hands behind you. Try adding 25 or 50 lbs. on your legs for an extra hard workout.

Finally for your chest, just put an extra 5 or 10 lb. weight on the left side so you have to work harder to lift it. Just be sure not to put on too much to the point where your left side can't handle it because a muscle strain is way worse to deal with in the long run.

Good luck! :keebler:
