Here is a bit of infro about the Matrix that is mind boggling

There's a lot more crunching vehicles this time around too - the 20-minute highway chase that provides the climax of the film is the most mind-blowing fusion of speed, steel, rubber and concrete since James Cameron dropped a Mack truck into the Los Angeles flood canals for Terminator 2 . The Wachowski Bros (who wrote and directed all three films, in case you didn't know), built their own highway for this scene , and the added freedom that afforded them really shows in the finished product.

what i wanna know is....

u know when trinity and the keymaker (aka winston in 20 yrs) are riding on the bike and they turn around.....and they are dodging cars.....that is cg right? or did they choreograph the whole scene film it slower in real time and then speed it up?

omega image....it was all cg. well, sort of. the bike riding was real and all, but the cars going by and the jacket flair were all done by computers.

fyi, they trashed 75 caddys for that scene. gm had given them 100 free caddys to use as they saw fit.
