Anybody Want to DJ at a GRAD PARTY?!?!?

Our grad party is on June 7th and we don't have hella money for a dj or anything...wondering if anybody with sum decent talent would like to take a crack at it...not 100% sure what we could pay...BUT I DO KNOW THAT ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE FREE...plus if you are a guy...im sure you could organize a dj groupie...(same goes for the ladies)lol...anyways if u are interested pm me and i will give u more information

im guessing like top 40 and shit...not my personal choice...but once you get everyone drunk...w\e as long as the crowd gets into it...as i said before FREE BOOZE...lol...and free gas...free food...trust me the gurlies will go nuts...lol...or the guys...any help or suggestions would be much appreciated..

Myself along with a few others were recently approached to do a grad party... After explaining the kind of music that could be played - either Breaks, Funky House, etc... They immediately brought a CD-playing, Hip Hop/Top-40's dude in...

That is the kind of music that should be at a party like that...

if you do get a cd dj, make sure he actually mixes and is a dj....using cd decks and playing top 40 is actually a lot harder than some of the more inexperienced dj's on this board think.

boourns to you for not picking it up sooner ;) as a professional musician & teacher(at times) i've found that women generally have a better sense of rhythm than guys. which would naturally make them better dj's.

everyone here is so helpful..cannot believe it...i would love to start spinning\promoting...so that i can bring sum parties out here...i have to wait till summer when the closest thing is chilliwack!

hey all...thank you sooo much again!!! Stupid gurls got sumone to 'dj'...i asked what they were spinning and they said "ohh we are just getting a cd player" they paid a $1000 dollars for that...lol...i told em for a $1000 we could of had a wicked dj
