I whiled away last week,
and to my great chagrin,
a sticky situation,
I found myself stuck in.

It seems that while last Monday
passed by the proper way.
I’d skipped right on to Wednesday
and missed a whole damn day!

So troubled was my mood,
the mood that I was in,
that I forgot a Saturday!
It made my poor head spin!

Next week is rather odd,
I had to add some days.
I’ll spend it like the others though,
dreaming in a haze.
