Pros.....large venue, which in turn can host parties that will bring in bigger names ( djs ). Thats about it
Cons......Sound regulations suk:( ( the plaza has never really sounded the same since )....i hate the fact that you gota smuggle gum and candy into the place.

Pros: Doesn't get busted cause its got a permit, its clean with a carpet. Elevators, has security and yes I think it is a good thing. Can hold alot of people easily past 1000's, smoke pit is outside, has three rooms(usuallY). Oh yea VIP tickets usually let you bypass the lineup. Trust me this is a good thing, read below.
Cons: Bc room always gets too hot, always its an e-tard festival(but that goes for alot of parties too...), lineup before parties can suck if you have a normal ticket. Very long wait upwards of a few hours. PRICES FOR PLAZA PARTIES are HELLA EXPENSIVE. Washrooms for the mainfloor don't have running water, hence you can't flush the toilet(cheap or whut). I dunno i'll add some more later

pros: big venue, legal venue, good facilities, central location.
cons: dancing on carpets, every party does look the same there, it's become the new riverside... (being completely over used) because it is one of the only legal venues in the city, the glass roof and windows/walls need to be cleaned. (routien post expo maintinence.

i don't see whats wrong with dancing on carpet though. I actually enjoy it because then when you don't want to dance and you sit on the floor you don't get mirky like at alot of parties.
everything else i do agree on. The plaza is falling apart everwhere I mean expo 86 was awhile ago lol

pros: large venue brings in the big names, I work for the security company that has the contract for the plaza so I get to cut lines and go up to VIP, thats about it for pros...
cons: before they fixed it- that DAMN flap of carpet by the escalator that u always trip over. the fuckin middle aged asian couple that are ALWAYS e-tarded and steppin on my feet. BC room is always hot, but its just so DAMN good. Toooo many candy kids

PLaza is the shit compared to any other venuw we have. LIke synx said can u name another 2000+ venue? Riverside sucks ass that palce gets discusting and im not even gonna bother talking about hurting places liuke the korean and stuff. PLaza is in a central spot, its carpeted so its cleaner, bigger name dj's can be brought in, and yes the sound regulations does make it sound bad but if anybody attended Fusion Dreams they put the speakers in the rite places and it sounded good.
Cons = the buidling is surrounded by glass therefore when morning is coming it slowly gets bright inside which sucks.

i like the demographic for the most part, and i think the abundance of security is a good thing.
i can't stand the ppl campin out on the dance floor though. most importantly, there are plenty of young booty-short girls.....mmmmmm "outta the car seat, onto my mea...

I love plaza parties! It is a great place to have a party because it can hold so many people. I like how there is 3 rooms. It is probably my favourtie place i have ever partied. A couple bad things are that there is no running water, gross! How are you supposed to wash your hands? I am a little creeped out by all the old asians that are so high and try and hit on you...... The only other bad thing is that is gets light in there too fast.
