How many Non ravers have you converted?

I hang out with alot of kids who say the typical "Are you gay? raves are for fags!" I reply with "Yeah fags definately had a part in creating the scene but its not like raves are a practicing ground for gay people"

With that being said they usually stick to the road they have been on all along and don't bother to research whut fun a party could be.

When playing house parties im sure other djs can relate to this sentence "Can you play the new ashanti track on the beat" well I tell the bitch to sit down cuz I dont play that shit and usually she ends up really drunk and telling me how much I suck.

But there are times when one can convert sluts/homies/surrey scum into neon raver trash.

for example I will hand out cds to kids who like to play there stereo systems loud in their cars. PLaying a genre with mad sub bass these kids love it and soon after they would like to experience it themselves.

What ways do you have to convert?

met at least 2 people at a rave where it was their first time. they're usually a little nervous bout dancin and that sorta thing. just gotta tell em to dance to what makes them feel good,not to how other people think. that and there's always someone (usually me) more fucked up then them making a bigger ass out of themselves.

fuck man i try so hard but my non rave friends are such big fuckin geeks...they like to driunk and handg out with the same 15 people every single day! plus they prefer to listen to the same shitty hip hop tracks that they've been listening to since they were 15 years old..alot of them never get laid, a bunch of them are still 20 year old virgins and shit. what the fuck!? and they still won't come out to raves because their too afraid of looking dumb when they dance...i think they're more afraid of actually having fun...that ebing said ive broguht a couple of them out to raves before, and for the most part they really liked it...the ones that liked tho i haven't seen in awhile because there busy with shit.

word muthafucker! my group of friends are like that 2. They gotta be listening to hip-hop 24/7. Don't get my wrong, hip-hop is dope and all, but it does get boring. They have a perceived image of a rave and won't even give it a chance. I used to get really mad when they wouldn't even try. I have now given up because its not worth my time. The scene has given me more friends to my collection, which I can't complain about. It's my friends loss I suppose.

My friend once started to complain cuz he said he was getting annoyed with hanging with the same people and doing the same thing. I just said, thats why I go raving and processed to ignore the rest of my friends whining.
