well if you work as a typist or a coder, you can be on you computer up to 14 hours a day working.
when you develop a back problem or really bad carpal tunnel, and you can only do 2 hours of work a day, there goes your entire livelyhood. you're going to be looking for someone to sue. there is a huge market in making keyboards that dont give you rsi or cts. http://keyalt.com/kkeybrdp.htm |

yeah i'm pretty worried about it too since i'm at a computer most of the day @ work.
But chances are it will be the music that does me in. I have to be very careful with my hands since i need them for percussion. At one point i developed afflictions similar to carpal tunnel from the repeated movements with drumsticks when i was playing military snare and i had to stop playing and take care of my wrists so the injury would not get worse....it sucks :( |
