I stumbled into the pawn shop today
Drank too much gin
I said "hey mister how much will ya gimme for my soul?"
He arched a brow and said...
"about $2.99 plus tax"
SOLD!

amazing how something so apparently futile
is so insignificant
and we take it for granted
inanimate it seems
intangible
