i love my job. i love to work, period.
this is the only job i've kept for more than 6 months (going on 2 years pretty soon), and i can't see myself leaving my job unless i got an offer i couldn't refuse somewhere else. i sit at a desk and spend about $100,000 on drugs everyday. it's pretty fun... i like to pretend it's my money, and just go on a shopping spree all day long. and the owners always take me out and get me drunk, it's great. i pay for my own liquor like once a month, if that. so even if they don't pay me as much as they should be, there'll still be more money in my bank account than there's supposed to be. |

Love my job w/ a passion.. working @ the keg actually sparked my intrest for a career in hotel/ restaraunt management & tourism. I love being around optimistic fun people, who belive in getting the job done professionally and with quality and care... but also having a tonne of fun while at it.

I wish I loved my job as much as a few of you out there. Optimistically thinking, I'm sure one day I will, but until then I'll work on making myself more valuable to the corporation.
Essentially, I hate WHERE I work more than my job itself. -TiFF- Tidbit of the day on job (dis)satisfaction: An estimated 20 million Americans are staying in jobs they hate in order to keep their health insurance- when research indicates that career dissatisfaction is more likely than anything else to make them need to use it. 20 MILLION. |

i grew up as an old navy kid and i always wanted to work there... so im kinda fulfilling my childhood goal. its kinda nice when you can accomplish a goal...nice lil feeling. but at the same time..now that ive been working there over a year...its really not my cup of tea. i dont put much effort into the job anymore.. but i still do pretty well. im an expert gap style folder, customer service is completely easy for me, im good with handling with money...its all boring i tell ya. but recently i just started doing some visual setting stuff and its getting a bit more interesting...kinda frustrating when my manager finds out im going to art school, and lays a whole department project on me..lookbooks after lookbooks..and me...completely clueless. that was not a fun week.. at least it triggered some brain cells.. i rather think than do something boring like folding all day.
september goal... job at a restaurant? |

but i dun like it nemore. the pple workin here are freaky. they don't have the slightest clue of what im doing in there. there all old farts. its absolutely no fun. but the money is attractive. G. |
