^well yeah, i never disputed any of that.
when i say 'mainstream culture' i am refering to the culture i/we am/are able to observe first hand. while we have had tastes over the years of top 10 hits with dancehall artists (shaggy/shabba/mad cobra) it never has really had a consistant following like sean paul seems to be bringing to it (though purists will say sean paul isn't true dancehall, but that's another discussion...)
anyways, i wasn't even serious. teaches me for trying to crack a little joke. :P
