Question for everyone
This question comes from my thoughts on the "Who would you want to be??" thread.
If you had the chance would you choose to have a second chance like I chose (ie. be my kid nephew) or be someone rich/famous due to what you see and hear but don't know what their life really is like. From the other thread I see the responses but why do you choose this? I thought a second chance to redo life would be priceless. Discuss. :) |

plus id like to point out the fact that due to the ages of the people on this board they really shouldn't have a desire to do their life over because for the majority of them their life has just begun(mine included) |

A second chance to redo my life?/ I am only in my twenties - I still have my whole life to lead - I haven't had a bad marriage or anything.
I lost a soul mate, but am confident this is not the only life we'll meet in - so there would have been nothing I could have done to save him. Think of the life you lead now as a redo and make the best choices you know how If I could start all over again there is a great chance I end up just like I am now :) cause this is who i am supposed to be Nope way to early to want to start again, those teenage years would mostly good times, but I like myself better now |

I would love a chance to redo my life and experiance all different thing, lead my life down a different path, just to experiance a whole side of life I would never experiance normaly, like come back as a girl and see what that is like, or really rich and famous, or a vegabond, or farmer, pretty much anything I am not and will not be

But if you choose to start over knowing what you do now I think many of you would choose to do the same things.
Humans are lazy and things that are familiar they are attracted to and will redo. I guess my past has more incidents that I would rather forget than remember, that is why I choose to start all over fresh and see what happens. I'd love to start all over knowing what I know now, but with that knowledge I think I'd be more cautious in trying new things due to having some foresight as to the outcome. |

i would never redo my life...just as everyone said..it would changed everything if u go down a different path..
there's so many good times u can experience just by doing things again but at the same time..there's also some things in life that i would rather die then have to experience them again.. |

I'm way too curious of a person to say no to the "restart button" thing.. If there was a way to live life over again I would damn well do it.
It's that I would want to change who I am, I just want to know what it would be like from a different perspective. |

well, there are more than a few things i'd be happy to not remember, but at the same time our experiences help to make us who we are, and what we choose to do with those experiences, whether it's positive or negative, also helps to shape us.
so, i've come a long way and i'm pretty happy with who i am so no, i don't think i'd change anything because if i did then i wouldn't be the same person. |
