What are your faves??

Crime Lab is small and the menu is limited but it has good food and great martinis. I like Samurai on Davie for sushi..cheap and open late. Haven't been to Balthazar yet, but it looks like it would be good.

Beach Club Grille on...Broadway is good.
And Banana Leaf on Broadway is good.
For good sushi, Ichi-Bankan or something like that. It's like underground on Thurlow & Robson I think.

i like the sushi place just around the corner, on thurlow a bit better. around the same prices, but less variety in sushi.

memphis blues is the best restaurant in vancouver, probably the country.

if you want GOOD sushi go to japan, when you get the bill you'll eye ballz will pop out


and KAMIKAZEE, it's actually spelled KAMIKAZE, and it's not pronounced "KAMAKAZI" like how the white ppl say it


KAMI means god, KAZE means wind, GODS WIND

some crazy asian guy opened the place up. apparently he's like superbigtimerestaurant daddy in taiwan or something. wicked good.

and most hotels have the best restaraunts
like Sutton Place, The Waterfront & The Pan Pacific

The revolving restaraunts are straight up tourist traps, the food is good but still average and overpriced,
but Cloud 9 was great to see the fireworks from!

Slickity Jims and Monsoons are a couple of my fav's for breakfast as well. For diner these days I've been going to Daimasu at Broadway and Cambie. If you get there after 9pm dinner specials are in full effect accross the board, along the lines of 2 people dinner a pitcher of beer and tip/tax for $25-$35.
