Interesting... I guess I would be a 2nd generation imigrant or a 1st generation Canadian as my parents are Americans.

On my moms side some parts of this family came from different parts of the world at different times. The furthest back I can go is 5'th gen.

My great grandfather (this is according to my mum) was one of the head engineers for the Titanic and 3 family members were aboard the ship when it went down.
