What did you want to be when you were young?

What did you aspire to be when you were young?

I remember when I was REALLY young, I told my mommy that I wanted to be a garbage man. lol. Then I wanted to be a teacher up until even just several years ago. After that, I wanted to be a psychologist, and now, I aspire to be an advertising art director.

When I was small I anted to be a nurse - then I saw blood ...no more nursing
throughout highschool I thought Lawyer as I have always had a passion for speech and debate

now I've moved onto teaching and hopefull that willl eventually lead to either being a Principal or a guidance consellor

When i was like 5-8, i wanted to be an astronaut, then after that, nothing really, now i want to do something with criminilogy, maybe become a pig, you can makes lots of money on the side you know :) :kam:

Well when I was really little, like 4 or 5 I wanted to be a cat farmer :hehe: Don't ask me what it is, I just wanted to live on a farm with a bunch of cats. Then after that I wanted to be a marine biologist and now I am thinking about getting into massage therapy.

Hmmmm... I don't recall most of my childhood so I can't remember what I wanted to be when I was like 5. I assume that I wanted to be like my Dad and be some sort of Executive.

Ever since I was like 13-14, I've always wanted to work with computers/technology in some way which I did for about 3.5-4 years. Although I am still in that industry (the corporate IT industry), I do something a bit different now.

now i think i wnat to be a elementary school teacher, but i'm not too sure...

I wanted to be a famous singer....ie. the next Mariah Carey or Madonna. Then I started smoking for a bit, quit voice lessons, and now it's hopeless. Haha....

I've also always wanted to be a teacher...but at the rate I'm going at SFU, that seems like such a far reach...

I've wanted to be a doctor since i've been five years old. I'll hopefully go to med school after my masters degree in nursing--unless i decide that I really like the nursing field.

If I wasn't going into the medical profession, I think I'd want to be a financial planner.

when i was young i wanted to become a ballerina and dance my way around the world.. then i gave that up to be a baller.. and i wanted to play in the wnba.. then family couldn't support me in the bc team so waved that good bye.

but since i was young i was ALWAYS curious about commericials and especially billboards.. and now i want to get into package design and advertising....and so far my goals are workin out for me. its on track.

other than that.. i wanna be a vj..SOOOO BADLY. or an actress/some kind of famous performer. umm.. always wanted to be a lawyer too but i wouldn't be able to handle the schooling..and..what else.. oh yes csi kinda deal would be neat..and again.. schooling wouldnt work. OOHHHHH! at one point i wanted to be a sound effect lady.. person who creates sound effects to encorporate into movies.

its crazy how many ppl want to get into advertising... its kinda neat though, cuz there are so many parts in the industry that it opens up the choices. good luck to all!
