"on photography" by susan sontag (no it's not a textbook)
and i'm gonna start a new book next week after my friend is done with it...i can't remember the name of it but its about the civil war in Rwanda and it's written by a reporter...it chronicles the events leading up to the civil war and the actual civil war itself...and has witnessed accounts of the horrors that went on in 1994 and onwards. i'm really looking forward to read it because i actually got to visit Rwanda in late 94 but never got the chance to understand the reasoning behind the war between the hutus and tutsis. -s. |

Recently I've read "Sushi for beginners" and "Rachel's Holiday" by Marian Keyes. And next I'm going to read "Angels" by her as well.
Right now I'm reading "The Navigation Log" by Martin Corrick. It's about a set of twin boys who are born right at the end of the great war and live (hopefully!) through WW2. My bf is on a sci fi kick and reading everything by Terry Brooks. |
