Favorite thing about Xmas?

I was just wondering what you guys love most about Xmas, for me it's all about the lights. Just walking down my street and seeing xmas lights everywhere makes me smile, it's beautiful.

NOTHING...........................christ mas is the worst time of year at my house. My uncle passed away last year, he fell from a ladder putting up christmas light. It's been a very hard time in our family, it's just not a good time in my house.

I think it would be the lights, I dont really get many presents so it gets me down and depressed but when I look at the lights, they make me happy.

that happened to my friend's Dad too - putting up Christmas lights on the roof is a Christmas danger I think some of us overlook - In time..in a few Christmases I hope your family can again feel the joy - I am sure that is what your uncle would have wanted. It sucks losing a family memeber...and it sucks even more that at a time of mourning for your family..so many others are so happy and joyous - it can be an isolating feeling - i know

Everyone out there - CAREFUL when you put up your lights!!! and it's okay to keep them low!

i would have to say going to the fireworks and christmas festival , looking at peoples houses all made up with christmas lights, decorating the christmas tree, opening christmas presents on christmas morning, turkey and stuffing and all that other good stuff andd making snowflakes for our windows.. hehe i dont usually take em down until january or so.. and oh ya giving my family members christmas gifts.
