oh my fucking god. there is something really really wrong about displaying dead bodies like that. I'm really sorry I looked. I think I actually might puke. The murder page is like....spiritually disturbing. Those are PEOPLE. fuck.

If you had ever actaully seen a dead body in a situation like that you would know the silent chilling aura of death and terror that surrounds them, and you wouldn't find looking at photographs of them amusing.

well why are you looking at them if not for amusement?

amusement doesn't have to mean humour...why do we watch horror movies? that's amusement as well. anything recreational we do by choice to pass the time or whatever...is amusement.

I clicked the link from another forum. The URL is quite ambiguous. I did not know it would contain such images. It's not like I go around surfing for these kinds of sites.

^ maybe it's done out of interest and curiosity. obviously there are people out there that can handle these things, otherwise there would be no morticians or anyone else with an occupation that dealt with death on a daily basis.

different people can tolerate different things. personally, these things don't bother me, but that's me. i can sit here eating a meal and looking at these things, but i'm just curious. some find it sick, sure, but i'm sure there's something everyone does that someone else will find sick. it doesn't give me pleasure knowing of other peoples deaths, but i'm curious. i've always had a "dark" side like that, built more from curiosity than sick pleasure..

^ i understand that, but even morticians or crime scene forensics people realize the...feelings... that go along with these kinds of deaths and respect them in a way you can't from looking at pictures...that's why you can look at them so easily. You haven't smelled them and felt their chilling presence.

I wasn't trying to be like "you guys are wrong or bad for looking at them" I was just saying that you cannot understand what is represented in those pictures.

never thought you were :) sorry i come off a little differently than i mean to sometimes.

i totally understand what you're saying, and i know the feelings. not as well as some, but i do understand the feeling. it's very chilling and so is everything that goes along with. i've been closer than some people i'm sure, and not as close as others but i do understand. i respect the people who work with that daily, it's not something i'd be emotionally capable of. it's hard work. but still something i have a great interest in..
