you have to like blance the equation then solve for the # of moles of Al2O3 can be made using the mole ratio then use the molar mass to solve for grams... or somethign like that

I only work as a chemist... so I'm sure i couldn't help you...

Oh - and i used to tutor chemistry, physics and math... so really i wouldn't be of much use.

Yeah what are you mixing here??

you need the full equation A + B = C + D

then you need to find how many moles of each part of the equation.
once you have to moles you use the mol/mass ratio how much of one reagent is needed.

ah, LEO says GER - my chem teacher used to have a stuffed lion she named LEO, funny shit. She also had a stuffed mole - come to think of it, she was a dork! who can like chemistry that much.. well some organic is alright i guess, heh heh.
