hehe nice, Breezy.

Just make sure you have all the proper training, gear, and someone (a guide type person) with you that has done the route before.
I suggest hitting up a climbing gym at least once a week for six months before you attempt the chief - - it's not as easy as it looks. I was supposed to do one of the more challenging routes this past summer but stuff came up and my guide had to spend the summer in Ontario, so hopefully I'll get a chance again next year.
Anyways, good luck with that! Just be sure not to underestimate the mountain, it can be very dangerous esp. if you're stuck up there during a rainy day!

I didn't know you were into that Nat =o)

I've climbed pretty much every mtn on the North Shore

Whether it be just hiking for a day up Crown Pass and such
backpacking for a week or so in the Manning PArk/Cathedral Lakes area
X country skiing
or doing serious climbing like the chief (Class 4 routes)
Mt Garabaldi/Black Tusk or The Lions

I've also done alot of Glacier climbing/hiking
like to the top of Mt Baker and Ranier

If you want I can take you to some really cool areas

i went up the crown pass this summer. it was mad neat. i think that it is too late in the season to go hiking anymore, unless you like hiking in the snow *brrrrrr*

i wanna try the rock climbing for real, none of the indoor stuff for me. maybe next summer =)~
