I'm sorry...I respect the fact that your beliefs tell you otherwise, but imo, in this day and age it's pure ignorance to have a view like that.

Times are changing, and religions and minds have to change along with them...I'd like to see stats on the number of people who have become disillusioned and left their churches in the last 15 years. I'm one of those people. I can't align myself with an organization that condones hypocrisy like the "good Christian" churches do. I know that no all churches are like that, but the vast majority are, and that is why I now consider myself agnostic.

As was said before, the church and state are 2 different institutions now. Lets keep it that way.

(BTW, I'm Pro. Love is love no matter how you look at it).

Yeah I'm more into utilitarian methods as well. It probably wouldn't be that hard at all to do a subsumption test using utility as a the higher order principle for testing. :)

I find that its easier for someone to break down a utility test though, it seems much harder to argue someone doesn't deserve the same moral rights that you do :)
