i was in a car listenin to all this on the radio as it happened and at first i was like "whats wrong people hit other people all the time in hockey... whats teh big deal" then they were talkin about stretchers... and i still had a little hope for big ol' bert.
then i got home and saw the replay of the hit. that shit doesnt happen in hockey. it was disgusting.

that was a dirty fucking hit, and totally uncalled for.
i really hope that bertuzzi at least comes out and apologizes for it, and not some phoney apology that burke or crawford makes him say...but one that he actually means. apparently he may be out for the rest of the season this was so not cool at all.

Ruutu is the shit Bertuzzi wasn't very impressive today.......but then again... everybody was cheering when that happened......dont' lie people... i know it felt good to see bertuzzi go whoop moores ass.....but too bad he got injured....or else everyone would be talking about how sweet it was when bertuzzi whooped moores ass yesterday

(but yah it was a cheap shot, and its not entirly tuzzi's fault cuz didnt everyone else see that a buncha players dog piled them!?!) prolly added to the injury as well! I *heart* ruutu! lol

I'm fairly sure the slame-face-into-ice part wasn't. When Bert smoked Moore, Moore and his glass chin got knocked out, and he went limp. Bert is strong, but trying to hang onto a limp body on ice skates, not gonna happen. Of course they fell. Then everyone just piled on top of them...

All of you backing up Bertuzzi are fucking tools and the fact that you condone actions like that make me ashamed to be considered a hockey fan along with you.
That was a disgusting act by Bert and although I’m sure his intentions were not to hurt Steve Moore as much as he did, you just don’t sucker punch a guy from behind like that. You have to wonder if things would have come to this if the league had taken action on the Moore/Nazzy hit…

People are making far too big of deal out of this. Does Bertuzzi deserve to be susupened? Yes, but not for what he is likely to get. Incidents like this happen in hockey all the time, because it was Bertuzzi and this Moore character we're never going to hear then end of it. I slept through the game, so I didn't see how long Moore was on the ice for, sounded like he was KO'd pretty bad. Not much to say other than I hope he wasn't hurt too badly. That is what the world of karma is all about, Moore knocked out the best player on the Canucks with a cheap hit and looked what happend to him. I'm not saying that what Bertuzzi did was right, but I don't feel sorry for Moore either, maybe he'll think twice about hitting someone like that again. Also I think Peter Worrell should be suspended too. He tried to spear some players on the Canucks' bench, and tried to hit a fan after something was thown at him. In my eyes, this game finished the Canucks season. They'll never go anywhere with Cloutier in net, and while other teams have made trades to improve thier line-ups, Vancouver has done fuck all. Will be interesting to see what kind of suspension Bertuzzi gets, I don't think it should be more than a game or two, but it's obviously going to be a lot more/ meh.

Bert... well he can hit hard.. at least make it a legal hit.. not to impressive on that move.. and for ruutu is the shit this year... if we have 5 rutuu's as players and one more in net.... we would take it to the cup !!!! well if we didnt at least we goal see a good goalie FIGHT !!!!

Did bratuzi intend to hit the dood. yes. Intend to Hurt him like he did? probably not.
I'm sure bratuzzi will own up to the consequences and all that may imply within those grounds. If someone cheap shotted my brother or a close friend and put him out of action, and i saw the bastard, i sure as hell know i'd try to beat the fuck out of him. if that one of the consequences was his neck being broken, i'd feel a little bad but wouldn't dwell on it too much, and i'd own up to the consequenes in a heartbeat. but then again, close friends and family are important to me. priorities eh?

Sanderson scored last night with 6 minutes left in the game
rochwinsky and sanderson are doing our team great. Insane passing yesturday night. Bertuzzi finds out the status of his suspension in one hour! I think if steve moore just took on bertuzzi instead of running away. Sure he'd have a few stitches here and there but he wouldnt have a broken neck. But anyways, moore will be back on the ice as early as next wednsday.
