I wuz up there on one of them houseboats a few years ago. No parties that time, kinda boring. You're supposed to stay away from the townsites on your houseboat cuz the locals hate the houseboaters (too many party animals).
We went ashore at this campsite and then a forest ranger came out of the bush and told us to get the hell back on the boat - a mother bear and a cub were just a handred feet away on the traill. :tounge1: |

Silly me just realized what the bang boat is...So nieve.
It's gonna be my first time up there, I've heard from some that it is just a crazy party all weekend and others have told me that it isn't. Can't wait either way. What's it gonna be like up there? |

I've never been houseboating, but I used to go to Shuswap Lake every year in the summer to camp. It's beautiful.
A girl I worked with did the boating thing last summer, same time we're going this year, and she said it was the biggest floating gongshow. There's one beach where all the arms of the lake meet, and its party central. You have to dock by night, so all the party people go there, boat hop, and just get stupid. There was a boat up there the same time as her, guys, they had tables set up on the top deck, and had so many people up there that it caved in.. So be careful! haha What company are you going through? |
