Yeah, a lot of them are movies. That's how i got started on Chuck Palahniuk. I saw Fight Club (my favourite movie now) and saw that it was a book first so i went out and bought it. Now I have all of his books. Same with Bret Easton Ellis.

Desperation by Stephen King was my first SK book. That's the one that got me started on him.

And Crookedking..i'm sorry to say, but if you just watch the movies, you're going to be missing out on soooo much.

And yeah, The Lovely Bones changed how i thought about death. Same with Five people you meet in heaven. You should read that one too, if you liked 'bones'.

I also wanted to add:
Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides

^^I definitly think reading the books of the movies expands horizons...not sure if that was sarcasm or not....but when you watch a movie that was made out of a book, i dunno about anyone else, but i always feel like there is so much more lying underneath that i'm missing out on if i haven't read the book either.
And one of the reasons the books are made into movies in the first place, is that they're good.

i like almost everything by king...he's a pretty good writer. the fourth one is weird. not as weird as the first one, but still a little odd.

Yeah, King is one of my all time favourite authors. Over the last like four years or so, I've managed to collect all of his books.

The best book that I have read is BATMAN by Craig Shaw Gardiner. Lots of action, just like the movie...two thumbs up!!!

Joker: "Never rub another man's rhubarb! Get me?"
Joker: "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?"
