Earthquakes cover mass surface earth area, and when it is huge, a huge population can experience devastation. Many people have been killed through earthquakes, and to make it even more interesting is that tsunamis and tidal waves are CAUSED by earthquakes!!!! In some instances earthquakes can cause avalanches and mountain slides. So overall, EARTHQUAKES takes the cake.

where ARE the zombies??? I must say that tornado's are the scariest...but since we don't get tornado's i would have to say earthquakes...because we are most likely to get that, and it would fuck us up.

kenji, you should mention that this is a 'non-scientific' poll, or otherwise people might put too much weight into the findings and instantly begin protesting about the world's worse type of natural disaster, even though it might really be a distant 3rd.

you should also add on 'run-on setences' as another option.

I voted for volcanit eruptions.... Cause when a volcano erupts, it can also cause landslides, mudslides, earthquakes, and tsunami's....

I am fucking terrified of there being an earthquake since they have been saying for quite some time there should be a huge one in vancouver eventually. That one that happened in Seattle a few years back that we felt up here scared the beejesus outa me. I guess I am also really scared of any kind of tragic disaster happening here though. I am a big chicken. I hope I become rich so I can live in an airplane most of my life. :toasted:
