Raver Books.
I am thinking the only reason people have those.. is for the simple fact the get loaded and actually care about who they meet and what they have to say.. honestly whats the point you probably have no recalection of tha night.. Soo many ppl have added me on msn and i am all like wtf where you get my msn.. they are like you gave it to me @ the party.. i'm like did i give you a # and they are like no.. then promptly deleted ..
inclosing.. whats the point.. i just write generic cliches.. O and my to meet list is not a fucking raver book Don't sign it.. cross your name off. Sariel Bah.. Rave, Flail, Repeat !! AHAHAHAH ok maybe yours is the only one i signed.. but still man honestly it freaked me out.. |

Rave books haha, but seriously to each their own, and you know what the trick to meeting people is?
Meet them over and over, don't go and try and meet a differnt person every party. try and meet and get the know the same person. I do that, and i usually don't have a problem remembering the person, sometimes the name takes a few tries but i eventually get it. P.S: drawing at parties are fun, so is reading. Tim(crookedkink) you'll back me on this one right lol |

I like my rave journal.... some of the cracked out things that get written into it is hilarious...
Granted, I only ask people that I know I am going to remember in the morning to sign in it... like to know how people are enjoying their party.. Lunchbox, your entry was great... A couple of the others are illegible, but for the most part, they are fun to look back on... besides, gives me something to read on the ferry ride home. :) |

i wouldn't be caught dead running round with one now, but i used to have one and it's one of my favoritest things...it's full of memories
it's cool cause i'm still friends with some of the peopel that were writing in it 4 years ago, it's funny to see how much we've changed, it's nice to remember those people you accidently forgot my sketch book wasn't only notes, but a list of the raves i went to, the drugs i did, the money i spent and made, flyers with my name on it, and cool baggies...it's sad, but funny |

Oh the good ol rave books, my rave was blue and fuzzy with kandy stuck to it! But really don't knock it till you try it Geoff. Yes i find it lame when people just get "randoms" to sign it, but it's SO fucking handy. There are people you meet at parties that you actually click with, and want to hang out with so it's a great way of getting their contacts or being able to have something to look back on from a well had night. Not to mention the fact that it's perfect for infoline directions/afterparty adresses. Honestly, about 90% of the people who wrote in my book i hung out with out of the scene or became friends with. Think of it as a yearbook meets adress book.

I saw a guy at Godspeed doing Oxygen and frantically writing down things in a notebook for like ten minutes. Would be weird to see what your brain comes up with during that time. Although i'm sure it would make me never want to do drugs again after reading what i wrote about. |

Coming from someone who's so recently graced a rave, having attended less than five parties, you sure are judgemental.
