It just shows that Crawford was the only person on the team who seemed to realize that in the playoffs the game is not over until there is no time left on the clock

You give everything you've got until the last fucking second.

I didn't get to watch the game last night. I had a doc app. I kept putting off for a month. I'm so glad I didn't watch it though!

Heberg really pisses me off. I never liked him as a goalie. I hope he gets hurt and they bring in Auld.

The team better get their act together for the next 2 games... we need to get to the second round!

^ ya man. Might as well try something, not to mention the 25 second shifts haha.

I mean honestly a loss is a loss. In the regular season its all for points so its not worth the risk, but in the playoff's though it is embarassing its still one game.

Fuck the New York Islanders came back to win game 2 after losing 3-0 to tampa eh?

You are aware that hedberg has won as many or more playoff games than Cloutier aren't you?

He's an excellent backup.
If Auld comes in, then we're really finished.

^ no doubt. Auld is a good goalie, and i believe along with marc crawford and brian burke that he will be the future canucks goalie one day.

but right now he doesn't have the requirments of a playoff goalie. He hasn't even played a full season of the NHL. Though i do like how he plays.

I believe crawford will start hedberg and give him another chance, otherwise he probably would have pulled hedberg last game, and by pull i don';t mean for an extra attacker

Would you be saying the same if we scored 2 goals and had lost the game 3-2. I bet you, you wouldn't hehe
I agree........a loss is a loss. But how many times have you ever seen a team score 3 goals within the last 5 mins? Not often....I'm sure. I just don't think that pulling the goalie and allowing that one extra goal can be good for the team's morale.

^ no its not about scoring 3 goals. Its about trying to score just one to get some momentum for the next game.

Crawford already knew the canucks were done, he was looking towards the next game. Anything to give the canucks some confidence

Yes I am aware that he does have a good track record... but he just doesn't do anything for me. I find myself yelling at the TV a lot when he's in goal. He is a good goalie just not somebody I want to see in net for the Canucks.

I like Auld... I think he's got a lot of talent and could be really great addition to the Canucks in a few years.

Has he even played a game this season for the canunks? I don't remember!

^ Auld went 2-2.

so a .500 even record.

Last year he was better i think he was 4-2 with a shutout. So definetly he wioll be the future canucks goalie in a couple years.

P.S: thanx for the Karma hun ^

I've seen Canucks come back from 2 points down and win it in overtime in about 2 minutes.

I don't see how 3 in 5 is really that farfetched.

It takes about 15 seconds for a scoring play to happen. So why give up at 5 minutes left when there is still a chance to win?

^ exactly, the fact that crawford pulled heberg to try and get a few goals means he hasn't given up. You don't give up till u hear the buzzer at the end of the game.

How is confidence obtained by watching Calgary shoot one into the empty net?

^ Its not, but i bet you wouldn't be saying that if the canucks score say 2 goals.

Alot of coaches would do it too i f its 3-0. Nothing else to try. Coaches will do anything to try and get some goals.

One more goal doesn't do anything in the long run. Its just one game. Maybe if calgary got 3 more goals into the empty net it would change things but one more goal does nothing.

I could argue this for hours, but until you grasp the concept that crawford didn't pull the goalie to allow them to get a goal. I can't do anything for you. You just gotta get the fact that crawford was trying to get some offense going anyways he could.

The game was already out of h and, might as well try and get something going

^^totally.. we have proven in the first 3 games to be able to score easily with a mad advantage.. so pulling the hedberg could have been a nice boost to get vancouver a couple points so the team could have accomplished something before it was over.. the next game is gonna be insane..
