Depends really on what excercises you're doing. If you focus on seperate muscle groups it should be alright.
Just remember, if you're constantly working out your muscles won't grow. When you work out you destroy muscle. It's when you're resting that they grow back stronger. Giving a couple days rest in between some solid workouts is a good way to go. If you're just gonna do some moderate hour and a half workouts then it should be better. |

its not bad at all, remember also everybody responds to weights differently what works for you might not work for someone else so try things till you get it right, as for the working of 2 groups in one day to maximise results from doing this try
chest/back or chest/shoulders, back/bi's, chest/tris, hams/back, shoulders/tris i have never liked this i find if i work my one large muscle group hard the other cant handle as much weight so its kinda of waste of time even doing it if you not gona max it out. arms chest legs back arms shoulders rest |

it is probly best for your body to workout no more then 5 days in a row and have 2 days off if you plan to be working out full time.
when i go i work muscles that work together, like when your doing bench press for your chest, you notice its working your tricepts too a bit at the same time. so do chest and tricepts one day, back and bicepts the other. if your going to do any running for cardio, do at LEAST 25 minutes or it isn't really doing much for you, unless your just running to warm up. if you dont like running then you can walk to do some cardi but thats going to require around 45-50 minutes of walking to get the same benefits of 20 minutes of running. |

dont forget everyones different. i've been working out since high school, thats a good 5 years for me too so i've found 5 days on 2 days off to be the best combo for me. |

what if you're not lifting heavy duty weights, but rather doing lots of reps with lower weight? (ie the point is to tone, not to gain a lot of muscle mass) i've been doing workout routines using light weights that work out most muscle groups (and it lasts about an hour), i could do that every day right, without being counter productive?

hmm i worked my Biceps and triceps yesterday.. is it bad to work those 2 in the same day? so i definately wont work chest today cuz of how the excercises work the bi's and tri's .. but i'll probably go do some back, cardio and situps...
