Adobe photoshop question

I am pretty sure you can record your actions in adobe and then play the actions back thus making what would have been very tedious work ie resizing 66 pics individually... a much shorter and easier process. I unfortunetly cannot remember how one goes about doing this. Anyone know?

Thanks

First you need to make sure that there is an Action that does what you need to do. For some things you can use Photoshop builtin Actions. After you have Actions to do what you need to do, use Automate under the File menu to set up the automation, destination directory, etc.

For your example:

Create the Action:

- open one of your pictures and click on the Actions window
- click the New Action icon and type in a name for it
- change the Image Size to whatever you need
- hit the Stop icon on the Actions window

Automate:

- select Automate, then Batch from the File menu
- select the Action you just created
- select the destination directory and naming scheme

That should do it.
